Position Summary:

T h e Placemen t Specialist le a ds t he marketing process for renewals within the Risk Ma n agement Uni t .

Job Responsibilit i es :

• Leads t he rene w al process, a d hering to the esta b lishe d rene w al work f low a n d timelines.
• Recomme n ds cha n ges to the renewal proces s tha t will result i n greater i n ternal efficie n cy and excellent custome r service.
• Coordinate s a n d communica t e s with internal part n ers throughout the marke t ing proces s t o e n sure co n sistently high levels of client ser v ice

• Meets with insured prior to rene w al to o b tain current information an d identify exposure s .
• De t ermi n es appropriate m arke t s, carriers, and coverage s to quote fo r client needs.
• Se n ds com p le t e d applicatio n s to carriers. Answers all carrier reques t s and questio n s until
• quotes are received.
• Completes a n alysis of q uo t es and coverag e s t o determine optio n s for p roposal.
• Meets with insured to present pro p osal. Provides guida n ce in coverage selectio n s.
• Binds coverage as authorized by the clien t .
• Crea t es executive summary o f ren e wal to share with inter n al partners.
• Updates Agency M anageme n t System with all submissio n notes and res u lts.
• Q u o t es new lines of coverage mi d -term as neede d .
• Per f orms other specific duties and projects assigne d by the Chief Operations Officer.

Education:

College degree p referred

Wo r k Ex p erience:

A t leas t 5 years of related experie n ce pre f erred
